What do i bring to the table?

After a long and extensive career of walking the talk myself, studying to deepen my knowledge including gaining international accreditation as a coach /facilitator, and being asked to coach and consult here and overseas, i have reached the wonderful time of my life when i can now apply this expertise to helping each of your build your performance levels until they are truly DAERing.

 

I began my career in Asian Australian Relations – setting up education departments, consulting in Japan and tutoring in China. I was  then asked to  establish 2 separate international commercial ventures in the field for the TAFE system.

 

In running these businesses i found my passion was focusing on the people who deliver high performance results. Following MBA studies in the field, I was headhunted for a range of senior Executive roles including Director – Organisational Development, National Director of Performance and Culture [specializing in leadership development] and finally State Executive Director – People and Culture for the  65,000 staff of Qld Health . Through these roles I have been fortunate to have been recognised for

 

  •  Developing a leadership culture with high performing leaders at all levels

  •  Developing high performance businesses based on my DAER  success conceptl i.e. ensuring the DIRECTION is clear and communicated + all  systems  are ALIGNED with delivery on this direction  + building the ENGAGEMENT of the workforce and all other stakeholders to increase discretionary effort, productivity, loyalty etc which will = high performance RESULTS.

  •  Developing integrated People Systems which builds alignment of all HR functions to deliver on the business and organizational vision and goals

Throughout my corporate career i have also been sought for a wide range of consultancy and coaching services both in-house and externally for a blend of individual Senior Executives, government, for-profit and not for profit organisations here and overseas. 

this has been how i have [and continue to] apply my learings from my career. I have also been asked to serve on 3 different Boards  and currently serve on the Board of the Victoria Point Community Bank [branch of the Bendigo Bank]

I work from foundations at an individual level such as career pathing,  building organised habits to support your dreams, goal setting, personal branding, management and leadership skills, then building on this at the business level with such things as strategic and business planning,environmental scanning and developing KPIS and then for your staff , helping to select staff with the greatest potential for performance and then designing performance plans etc to align and engage them so they deliver on this potential

 

The common theme here is my passion for igniting performance in the individual, business and staffing arenas

 

I have been honoured to have my expertise  recognized by 2 different state awards  and through being regularly sought  as a key note speaker .
